Whenever I see the bigfoot commercials, I always think “Why not just go to Missouri, that’s where it’s based out of.” :p
It’s a little iffy trying to pin mythologies down to a single origin. The Yeti tales are quite ancient, coming from the Himalayas and Nepal. Sasquatch tales emanate from northwestern North America, from aboriginal roots. These all describe the same kind of hairy, oversized wild man-like creature that Bigfoot represents. When one is found, we can ask where it came from!
